Open Air MRI of Lake Charles was founded in 1997 and specializes in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Open Air MRI is the only facility in southwest Louisiana to offer both high field and true open MRI technology. We are committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients and referring health care providers.

Our radiologic technologists are licensed by the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in both radiologic technology and MRI. Radiology Specialists in Lake Charles, Louisiana, is a group of six equal partners providing highly specialized radiology interpretations since 2000, the year the practice was established. All partners are fellowship-trained and board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Radiology Specialists’ physicians interpret all imaging modalities, with a special emphasis on CT, PET, and MRI, offering patients both primary interpretations, as well as second opinions for referring clinicians, patients, and the legal community.
